The Challenge: Two industrial buildings unoccupied for decades, suffered from long term deferred maintenance resulting in significant deterioration of the historic buildings.

Project Scope:

• Wessling Architects performed a thorough hands-on investigation and documentation of the ongoing deterioration.

• Study included coordination with structural engineers on areas of structural concern.

• Historic structures report included careful documentation of existing conditions, recommendations for appropriate restoration of the building fabric, and detailed budgets for restoration.
